Allah the Almighty says:
“And they give food, in spite of their love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive...”
And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever provides iftar for a fasting person will have a reward like his, without diminishing the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani.
Fasting on the Day of Arafah carries immense virtue and reward. The Prophet ﷺ said when asked about fasting on that day:
“It expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.” Narrated by Muslim.
